Toby Boxer Mix Brunswick, ME

Toby is a year and a half old Boxer mix. This boy is as lovable as they come. He loves to play and cuddle. Toby is great on a leash and would prefer to do his business on a walk rather than the yard. He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He plays very well with other dogs when he isn't overwhelmed. He gets very nervous and overwhelmed when taken to busy places. We do recommend Toby be in a house with no more than one other dog. Toby is currently living with one of his litter mates and has frequent playdates with another. He is not good with small animals. He is in a foster home with cats, rabbits, and chickens. He is not very kind to them. Toby should not live in a house with children under 12. Toby needs a family who is able to be patient and give him space when he is tired. He knows if he gets tired and snippy to go right into his crate - he has a routine and it is working well. He does not do well when startled while sleeping. Toby's foster family is working hard with him to lessen his anxiety and he is making strides.
