Toby Terrier & Beagle Mix Cincinnati, OH

Meet Toby a fun loving vibrant puppy who is ready for an active furever!!! We are guessing Toby is about five or six months as he does still have some puppy teeth. We currently have Toby listed as a terrier mix but that is a huge guess. He is a little leggy which the pics don’t necessarily show. A best guess is this guy will be a medium size pup.

Toby’s favorite pastime is to play and chase his furry siblings around in the yard. Based at his speed he may even be part cheetah! Toby will do best in a home with a medium or larger active dog friend who loves to zoom around the yard just as much as he does. He would need a physical fenced in yard in his furever.

Toby has been doing well with his training. He knows to use the restroom outside but has had a couple accidents. He does well in the crate while foster mom is working a typical full time day. Toby is working in his leash skills, he likes to grab the leash and chew so walks would need to be monitored so he doesn’t chew through the leash. We are working in the fact that Toby likes to give extra loving to the doggies. Hopefully his neuter will tame that but meanwhile he is responding to correction.

Toby is in that teething stage which we all know is the best part of puppyhood. He may not do well with smaller children as the baby teeth don’t necessarily feel that great. Toby would be a great candidate for basic puppy training as he loves to please.
