We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, if fencing is required it must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit.

If you are looking for a "hunka, hunka of burning love" Toby is your boy!! Toby is a 50lb boy who loves to love and be loved!! If you are looking for a faithful companion with a lot of love to give, look no further. Toby is a 10 month old we are told border collie mix. Toby is a big boy so he might be best in a home with older children, no temperament issues, just may knock smaller children down unintentionally. Toby is working on his manners and he would benefit from obedience training. He gets along great with his canine foster friends, not sure about cats. Toby would probably do best in a home with another dog to be a playmate and keep him company. Toby thinks he is a lap dog and enjoys cuddling on the couch and belly rubs. He is pottie-trained and enjoys being outside. He will stand out there, even in the rain, and take in the sights, sounds and smells. Toby will require a physically fenced yard. He walks great on a leash and crashes hard when he gets back home. All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
