Toby German Shorthaired Pointer Mix Palatine, IL

Hello all! I’m Toby, a 4-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix. Although I’m sure you’ve heard it before, I truly am the most fun-loving, sweetest dog in the world!!
 
Let me tell you a bit more about me. First, my likes:
* I’m very energetic and cannot wait to romp around with my new family!
* I love all toys and games and am ready for a good game of fetch or tug-of-war whenever you’re ready!
* I love kisses and cuddles; wherever you are, I want to be!
* I love other dog friends!

Challenges? I’ve never met a challenge I can’t overcome, and am not afraid of hard work. For instance, I didn't like my crate at first but I'm much happier in there now; I'm making great progress with my leash-walking skills; and I'm learning not to whine so much when I can't be with you.

Other things you should know about me: I know “sit” and am working on other basic commands, and…drumroll please...I am potty trained! I know, that last one hooked you.  Also, I have a little hair loss on my ears and the sides of his body, but really, bald is beautiful and you won’t really even notice because you’ll be staring at my adorable underbite.
 
I'd be happiest in a single-family home where I can utilize my singing voice from time to time. A dog friend would be great! I'd really love an active home where someone is home frequently. I hope for a chance to snuggle up to you and bring joy and happiness to your life.
