Meet Toast

Toast came in as a stray and sadly was never claimed. She is a submissive and sweet girl, loves affection and treats, but also displays behaviors very typical to the cattle dog breed. Toast is so treat motivated that she figured her way around the trainer to quickly stick her head in the treat pouch! Cattle dogs do best when they have lots of challenging physical activities so if you are looking for a calm couch potato she is not that dog! Toast spends her day here at the shelter with a male dog and does very well. She will also thrive with some positive reward based training.
