Toast Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix Mauston, WI

Toast is a happy Catahoula mix. He’s a big boy who weighs 70lbs. Toast was originally adopted from us, but recently returned through no fault of his own. He is a total goofball who doesn’t always know his own strength, so he is definitely going to need someone who can handle a large, strong dog. While his manners need a little work, he does want to please and always tries to understand what you are asking of him. He also loves treats, which he takes very gently, and is always up for an adventure. Enthusiastic and outgoing, this silly guy is quite sure everyone is his friend and people are the greatest thing ever. Toast does just fine with other dogs, but he will still need a meet and greet to ensure everyone gets along before going home with a doggie friend. Because of his size and tendency to play hard, he would probably not be a good match for small dog. He is not impressed with cats, and will need a cat free home. So if you are looking for a cheerful, energetic guy to be your new best friend, Toast can’t wait to meet you.

If you are interested in adopting an animal after viewing it an adoption Application should be filled out and left with the volunteers. Once the Adoption Application is reviewed and a background check is done someone from the shelter will be in contact with you.
