Meet TJ/Nala

Hey there. I'm Toe-Jam. I am here on the search for my forever home. Let's start with some Vet notes; The animal you are adopting has recently had surgery. For 10 days following surgery, please monitor the incision site for redness, swelling, discharge, or spreading apart of the incision. Please prevent your pet from licking at the incision. An E-collar (cone) should be applied if licking is noticed to avoid infection. Exercise should be restricted to leash walks only to avoid incision breakdown. No bathing, swimming, or activities that would result in the incision getting wet for 10 days after surgery. If you have any concerns regarding the incision site, please contact your regular veterinarian for follow-up care. Your pet also has a green tattoo indicating they are spayed/neutered. This tattoo is found either in or near the incision site. This pet was treated for an ear infection at the time of her spay with a long lasting ear antibiotic pack. This medication will be slowly absorbed over the next 10-14 days. Please do not clean or remove any of the medication from the ears during this time. Follow-up with your veterinarian in 10-14 days is recommended to be sure the entire antibiotic pack has been absorbed and the infection has resolved. This pet also had two blueberry sized masses removed at the time of her spay. Visually these masses had benign characteristics and appeared completely excised but please monitor these areas closely for recurrence and follow up with your veterinarian with any questions or concerns. I came in as a stray, so my history with other dogs, cats, and children is unknown. I have not seemed interested in meeting other dogs while I have been here. The shelter can be stressful for a girl like me, so I am having trouble letting my true personality come through. I seem interested in toys, maybe we could play together. I can seem big and intimidating, but really I am a sweet girl. I promise to try to be the best dog I can be, if you gave me a chance. I already know 'sit' and I could learn so much more with you
