PLEASE READ ENTIRE BIO>>>This cute little gal was surrendered to a high-kill, rural county shelter when she was only 8 weeks old. When the shelter asked us to take Tiny and her three sisters, we were more than happy to do so! We were told the pups were born on 1/21/19 and that they were Chihuahua mixes but we think there's some Beagle or some kind of small terrier or maybe even some Shelty in them, too. All four pups are super sweet, energetic, and playful. They love romping around with each other so we think a home that has another similar-sized, canine-friendly dog would give Tiny not only a playmate but a role-model as well. After all, there's a lot she needs to learn! Her adopter will need experience, patience and adequate time to supervise, guide and teach her all she'll need to know in order to grow up to be a well-mannered dog. Keep this in mind if you work long hours and/or have a busy social life that would limit the amount of time you'd have for Tiny. A home with a secure fenced yard will give Tiny the safe environment she needs to play and 'do her business.' Right now, she thinks anything she can get in her mouth or her mouth around is a chew toy and, take it from us - her little teeth are needle sharp! If there are young children living in or frequently visiting your home, an older pup or an adult dog that is not quite so mouthy might be a better fit. After all, a nip or scratch still hurts even if it's the result of playful behavior. To adopt Tiny, just stop by the shelter and ask to meet her. NOTE: Until Tiny is old enough to be spayed, we are only accepting applications from residents of Jefferson County.
