Tinsel! Outgoing, Friendly Girl! Pit Bull Terrier Mix Meriden, CT

Meet our super friendly and loveable girl named Tinsel! Tinsel is about 2 years old, and she came in to our shelter after being neglected for some time. After some extra care from our vet staff, and extra meals, Tinsel has made a wonderful recovery! She hasn't let her past affect her personality or trust with humans. She absolutely loves all people and loves to get attention. She has a good amount of energy, but she can entertain herself with her toys. She especially loves tennis balls. She will lay on her bed and roll over for a belly rub with a tennis ball in her mouth. Tinsel is a special dog who deserves an extra special home! She can still be a bit jumpy, but she is very food motivated and willing to learn. Tinsel is good with dogs and cats. She can go to a home with children 10 years old and older.

MAC IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.

An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.

ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
