Many thanks for all the interest from the public on Tinsel!! We are overwhelmed with the calls and emails from so many excellent applicants! Our apologies, but we must go ahead now and ask that nobody else apply at this point, until we can get through these, we’ve had hundreds of people to reply to in only 2 days. We will do our best to get back to each of them, and we’re sure there will be a great home for her amongst them!!

Please note that Tinsel is located in southern VA and anyone interested in adopting her must be willing to travel to meet and pick her up there at this time. No shipping requests, please.

Tinsel is a 6 year old, female West Highland White Terrier.
She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines.
She is accustomed to going out a doggy door to a fenced yard whenever she wants, so would likely need some housetraining if you don’t have a similar situation in your home. She would need stairs training, as she lives on one level now. She has had no reason to wear a collar at home, so some leash and harness training will also be needed to leash walk. This is why we are looking for a home owner with a fenced yard. It just means that you’ll need to spend some training time with her before you two can go on lovely walks together.

This is a referral listing to help find Tinsel a great new home because we can reach a wider audience. Her adopter will be chosen by her owner from applicants we forward.
