Meet Tinkerbell
7/24/23
Tinkerbell is about two years old and weighs 23 pounds. She is maybe a doxy/terrier mix. She's a dominate female so would do well in a home with male dogs or as an only female dog. She came in with food aggression but is better with that now that she knows she won't go hungry anymore. She is also a toy hoarder and wants all the toys to herself. She's house and kennel trained, has not been cat tested. Does find with all the folks who care for her. She is kinda possessive with her person/people, she will love you to death and protect you but she may be nippy to people she feels threatened by or guarding her things or people. She would be best in a home with no small children and if you have grandchildren just settle her in the kennel until the kids are gone and she will be fine.
**This dog is currently at the rescue in TX however you can secure this pup for yourself with a pre-adoption which means getting your app in, approved and then paying the adoption fee. The adoption fee is $350 which covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees. All our dogs come with a 30 day, money back, trial period to make sure they are the right fit in your environment but if it doesn’t work you will have to foster until the dog gets rehomed. Tall Tails Rescue has a commitment to these dogs for their lifetime and we hope you do too! If you are interested in pre-adoption you can click the link here or copy/paste and fill out the app to get started: https://form.jotform.com/PNWdogs/ttrt-pnw-ap
