Timmy's Story
Meet Timmy!
Timmy is a petite chocolate-and-tan husky mix who joined Rubies & Rogues on September 2, 2025 after suffering an eye injury in a dog fight before rescue. Since then, he’s been showered with love and care, and he’s blossoming into the wonderful dog we knew he could be.

Medical Update
Timmy’s eye is healing well, but there’s still some swelling around his eye and cheek area. Once that goes down, our veterinarian will know more about how extensive the damage is. Worst case scenario, Timmy may need his eye removed—but if that’s the case, we’ll make sure he gets the care he needs. For now, he has ongoing vet visits to determine if his eye can be saved. This is why we are really hoping for a foster-to-adopt situation, so Timmy can settle into a stable home while continuing his care.

Personality & Quirks

Loves meeting new people—he’s a social butterfly.

Great co-pilot on car rides.

Has the classic husky howl (and yes, it’s adorable). Don’t worry though he has his howl tamed

Lights up when toys come out.

Adores lounging on fluffy dog beds.

Other Pets & Kids

Cat tested and 10/10 approved!

Kid-friendly and gentle.

Not yet mingling with other dogs while his wounds finish healing, but no concerning behaviors noted.

Training & Home Life

Crate trained and comfortable with structure.

A few potty accidents in the home (we keep it real!) initially going to his Foster’s but has picked up on house training with consistency and structure. Hasn’t had a potty accident consistency, house training should be smooth.

Frequent home changes may have contributed to accident so we will say he may have an accident or two in a new environment. Timmy is ready to thrive with stability.

Medical

Eye care is top priority right now.

Neuter is scheduled in about two weeks.

Fully vaccinated and microchipped.

What Timmy Needs
Timmy has bounced between homes, and it’s time for him to find his safe landing. He’d thrive in a foster-to-adopt home where he can finish his medical care and officially become part of the family, but a committed foster is also welcome. He is truly a catch—resilient, loving, and ready for his forever.

Apply here to foster or foster-to-adopt Timmy:
https://rubiesandrogues.com/pages/placement-application
