Meet Timmy
Timmy comes to us from our shelter friends in Northern IL - he's brand new to the rescue, so more information to come! But in the meantime, we'll share what we know so far...
Timmy is an approximately 2 yr old neutered male GSD that was found as a stray - with a heavy chain attached to his collar. You'd never know he might have come from a tough start when you meet this boy - he's happy, outgoing, and full of playful energy and pure GSD goofiness. Timmy is looking for an active home where his needs for both physical and mental work outs are met. He's eager to learn, and he won't be happy as a couch potato dog.
Timmy is said to be friendly with other dogs (slow and controlled intros always recommended). We will be working to determine if he might be house or crate trained, but would expect there to be a transition period as he adjusts to a new home, schedule, and expectations.
This boy is going to be so much fun and we can't wait to get to know him more as his personality really comes out. Think he might be the next best friend you've been looking for?

Our Adoption Fees:

*Dogs and puppies 12 months old or younger: $450
* Adult dogs over 12 months of age: $400
* Senior dogs over 7 years of age qualify for our "Seniors FUREVER" program! Seniors are special to us, so we offer two options:
(1) If your heart has a special place for the seniors, you can adopt a senior dog for the regular adoption fee of $400 and this becomes a perpetual fee. You can adopt another SGSDR senior dog at any time from us in the future at NO CHARGE.
(2) If you aren't sure about your future adoption capacity, you may adopt your SGSDR senior dog for a reduced adoption fee of $250.
