Meet Timbo!

Timbo is a sweet Vizsla/Golden mix, approximately 23 pounds and 1 year old, so still very much a puppy. He is completely crate trained and almost house-broken. He sleeps through the night in his crate – not a peep out of him.
He is cautious with people at first and will need patient introductions in the house. He startles at loud noise and quick movement, so a home without small children would be best. He is making progress on leash training and has been introduced to a front clip harness to help with his pulling. He is very good in the car, likes to sit up and look around.
He loves to greet people outside and is especially interested in other dogs. He needs to be adopted to a home with a larger playful dog to help keep him exercised and to build his confidence. Once he is comfortable, there is no stopping him – he just wants to run and play all day. He is curious and very smart. There is so much to love about this little guy!

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, if fencing is required it must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit.

All our dogs have been treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
