Hi Y’all! Tilly here! Let me tell you a bit about myself. I was found a stray in Kentucky and made my way up to Albany. I am approximately 5 years old, spayed and up to date with all of my shots. I have adjusted exceptionally well to foster life and have clearly lived in a house before. I certainly know my way around the kitchen and need to work on my manners at dinnertime! I LOVE to eat and am not above countersurfing! I have two very distinct looks. My sad hound look that works really well with my foster mom when I want a treat or some love, and my goofy satellite ear look when I am investigating a noise or better yet looking for something I can chase. My foster mom thinks maybe my life was hard as one of my oversized ears has obviously been thru some trauma and I am a little handshy with fast movements, but I just want to forget all of that. That is the past and I am ready to live my new happy life with my forever family and already LOVE my new foster family. For some reason my tail was docked, but my little nub is always wagging. I get along well with my canine foster brother and sisters, but I would prefer a home without small animals as I have that hunting drive and I can’t help but chase anything that runs. My favorite things include stuffed squeaky toys, chewy things like nylabones and pig ears, but most of all I like following my foster mom everywhere. I am so happy to be in a house again and don’t want to let my mom out of my sight. Although I get along very well with my foster dog siblings, I would also be happy as an only dog. My foster mom does not crate me when I am left alone and as long as I have my toys, I am happy to amuse myself. I know how to use a dog door and am doing great with housebreaking. I ride great in the car and am always ready for an adventure, but I am equally happy to cuddle up and binge watch Netflix. And PLEASE, don’t think of me as “old” at five, I'm just getting started on a super life! I am through that crazy puppy stage and am calmer and done growing. Speaking of which, I am about 40 lbs and have short hair and walk well on a leash. All that equals LOW MAINTENANCE which leaves more time for us to have fun together. If you would like to meet me please visit our website for our meet/greet/adoption process and on-line application which is necessary for a meet and greet. www.crazypawsdogrescue.com
