Tika American Staffordshire Terrier Mix North Battleford, SK

Tika was surrendered by her owners by no fault of her own, and is well behaved and happy to be with people. She loves snuggles and attention. Currently Teeks is living with a male dog and 2 cats. She likes to play with other dogs, but she is the alpha and does better with dogs who are submissive. The cats she lives with don't care about dogs and they get along great, but she does have a prey drive and sometimes will have the instinct to chase them.

She is very comfortable in a home and can be left unattended out of a crate without getting into anything or chewing on things aside from her toys. She loves her toys. She is house trained, well mannered, knows basic commands and is an excellent guard dog. She welcomes guests into the home and is not reactive to people, but does not like unknown guests she's never met entering the home without her foster mom there. Once she's met someone she welcomes them in with all sorts of wiggles and smiles.

Tika LOVES going for walks and is calm and well mannered on a leash. She has had overnights at the kennel and does just fine. Tika would be well suited in a home by herself where she can be the Queen of her Castle or with another chill dog that likes company. Help this sweet girl find the home she deserves.
