Tigress's Story

Hi my name is Tigress! I am one and a half years old and weigh 65 pounds. My people think I may be an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. I came into rescue after I was abandoned and had my babies in the woods. I was pretty protective of them and initially wouldn’t let anyone help me. I thought I had it under control but being hungry got the better of me and I gave in. We went to a wonderful foster family that had a lot of patience and love for us. My puppies Bonnie and Clyde have both been adopted into loving homes. It’s now my turn. I was a good mom and did everything right. I kept the predators away so they would have a chance at life. I thrive on all the love and attention my foster family has to give me. I am a playful girl and get the zoomies outside. I love my toys also and I don’t tear them up. I am not a destructive girl.

I am both crate trained and house trained. My foster family doesn’t make me go in a crate anymore because I am totally trust worthy in the house. I am not a chewer and I don’t get into things I am not suppose to.

I walk great on a leash, have excellent recall and love to be out and about. I ride well in the car and would love to go wherever you go. I am not a barker and a pretty mellow girl.

I guess you could say I’m a water dog. I love to play in all the puddles of water when it rains. I think I would love the beach. I have never got to go before. I am very athletic and would be up for any adventure. I do well with other dogs, but have never been cat tested. My people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. My best friend in my foster home is a deaf Aussie by the name of Zenith.

I am healthy, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Please email kamcdm@yahoo.com for application instructions.
