Meet Tigger
We saw Tigger, a 6 -year-old 70 lbs Boxer/Pit mix, being surrendered to the city shelter as we were rescuing another dog. We could see what a sweet gentle soul he is (Tigger calmly greeted the dog we were saving with soft body language and accepted petting happily) that we came back the very next day and got him. And boy are we glad we did. He is THE perfect dog - the total package. He's great with people, dogs and kids. He absolutely loves to snuggle with you anywhere, anytime and enjoys the company of of all pups big and small (he's fostered with two resident dogs and they get along great -- even the shy one).
Tigger also enjoys a good frolic in the park and long walks he's great for the outdoorsy/active types. But, he's super calm while at home. Despite being neglected in his previous home -- he sustained an eye injury that went untreated and he now has limited vision in that eye -- he is the happiest, most open hearted dog you could meet.
