“Hi! My name is Tiberius. I came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue from an abusive past life but have been living with some amazing foster folks and am ready to find my forever home.

Don’t let my breed mix fool you. As much as I love my daily 30-60 minute walks or adventure hikes, I just as much love to be snuggled and loved on. I like to be the big spoon every morning while you’re waking up, trying to keep you in bed! and I love to be smothered in kisses.

I’m quite a silly boy with lots of facial expressions. When I’m excited or when you talk to me, I like to give a little grin and smile at you. I’m not a big barker, but I do ‘squeak’ sometimes. My foster parents have taught me to sit, lie down and ‘stay’. I wait patiently for my meals and have no reservations or disagreements with my foster brothers when they try to steal my food from my bowl. I am happy to share.

I am crate trained, and sleep soundly through the night as long as I have a comfy blanket I can snuggle up in. I am potty trained as well, and am working on how to alert my foster parents on when I need to go.
Walking on a leash is a breeze for me! I love it! I direct very well, and I stick by your side. My foster parents have been working on recall with me, and I’m doing amazing! I love meeting other friendly, easy going dogs who are smaller or even bigger than myself.. because I am so sensitive to energy, dogs who are too forward and play too rough make me scared and I tend to run back to my foster parents for safety.

I was abused my previous owners and shy away from fast hands, or leashes above my head. I will cower or hide, but I have never bitten or attempted to bite out of fear! My foster mom is working on getting me used to nail trims and baths. I don’t think I had ever had a bath until I met my foster parents, but my coat is beautiful because of it! With practice and consistency, I’ll come around.

I also LOVE the snow, and I love to play with my small foster brothers in the snow. Tag and wrestling are my favorite as I’m still learning to play with toys (I never had any!) I am respectful of cranky dog’s boundaries and look to my foster parents for direction when I get lost on how to move forward.

Overall I am a sensitive pup with so much to experience in this lifetime. I’d love a family (no tiny humans please) who are active walkers or hikers, who want me to be apart of their every day and give me more snuggles than I can ever dream of! As much as I love the outdoors, I’d be much happier as a family member instead of alone on a large property. I hope I can find that perfect family soon!”
