URGENT Rehoming Situation! Tia needs a new forever home or foster home ASAP! Please reach out to us and we can connect you with the family we are working with to help Tia.

Tia is a very sweet girl who needs a loving patient home to show her it's ok to be a dog again, and that not all other dogs are mean! She was attacked 2x by some other dogs in her own home and is now terrified of most dogs and gets scared and defensive. She is ok with small dogs, but any dogs her size or larger she is very intimidated and instantly is on guard.

Tia was moved to a family members home to be in a safe environment but now her temporary owner is selling their home and downsizing. She needs a new home very quickly; it would not be fair for her to go to a shelter when she never did anything wrong. Even a foster home would be great, and Pawsitive Connection provides all the food, supplies and vet care if needed for our foster dogs! Fosters just provide the love, and home! We can also help with training and rehabilitating her from to work through her fears and anxiety of other dogs since being attacked.

Tia just wants to be with her human, to go for walks and play, then snuggle on the couch. She's a very sweet and smart girl and 100% deserves a happy home and forever family of her own. She shouldn't be the one to be shuffled around anymore!

It would be great to find a family who can work with her and help her not be scared, she used to love to play with other dogs and still has plenty of energy and wants to play!

It may be good for her to be the only dog/pet in the home to start, but also with the right person and introduction she could be ok with the right dog if they were gentle and not aggressive at all. She has not been around cats, so we are unsure. about that.
