Hi I’m Thornton! I am a Chocolate lab mix that is a cute as they come! Chain of Hope has been a part of my story since I was a puppy. They always came and helped remove me from a heavy chain and provide shelter and warmth for me while I lived outside. One day, I really wanted to play (I’m young you know) and slipped out of my collar and was hit by a car. I suffered a horrible broken leg, but Chain of Hope was able to rescue me and get me surgery. Now I am on the mend! Since my surgery was so extensive, I am on rest for a while, but as I continue to get healed, more of my personality shows. I am a lover and am told I am a funny boy! I love other dogs and am very playful. Since I lived outside for my whole life (1.5 years) and on the end of a chain, I would love a warm home and a yard to play in. Maybe a kid or other dog siblings too!
