Thor Jindo & Retriever Mix Long Island City, NY

Meet Thor! He's a 36-pound Jindo retriever mix that is approximately 1 year old. This gentle guy really loves his crate, and feels safest curled up like a little donut in his happy place! His fosters tell us that he's taking some time to come out of his shell, but as he does, he's sweet and calm. When he's not snoozing in his crate, he loves to play with a kong filled with peanut butter or get pets from his fosters. He's doing well with potty training, as well as walking on a leash outside. Please note: This is not an adoption event; potential adopters will be meet the pups in person, learn about each dogs personality, and then meet/greet and observe the dogs from outside of their playpens. We will answer your questions at our questions booth, and if you are interested in adopting, fill out an adoption application before or after the event!

REQUIRED
In compliance with NYC Covid-19 Phase 4 re-opening (www1.nyc.gov/), please show proof of Covid Vax or Negative Covid test within the last 3 days. It is required to meet the dogs upon entry. Our staff and volunteers will also meet the requirements. Masks and social distancing rules will apply.

Our adoption radius is now within 30 miles of the following locations: NYC, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Western & Eastern CT. You must be able to pick up the dog at our office in Astoria, Queens (no exceptions). You must wear a mask and practice safe social distancing when traveling and picking up the dog.
