Meet THOR
This lovely little french fry is 4 years old. He was transferred to ABR from a small rescue in BC after he displayed some concerning behaviours. Thor has a very low threshold for what he decides is unwanted touch. He starts out letting you pet him, and then changes his mind, which he lets you know with a quick snap and lip curl. This behaviour is highly manageable and luckily he displays consistent changes in body language before losing his cool.
While in ABRs care, his foster will be working to remind him that he can trust humans, and building his confidence back up. As with many frenchies, Thor also suffers from ear infections and as a result hd to have an ear canal removed.
Thor requires a home with no children. An older, calm dog in the home that will give Thor his space is acceptable, but no high energy dogs. Of course all dogs would need to meet to confirm compatibility.
All donations received in Thor’s name will be used towards his training and medical expenses.
