Meet Thimble
? Meet our precious Mouse-Themed Litter! ?
These five sweet pups were rescued from a very rural part of South Carolina after being found living under a car. Their momma (last picture), an elusive dachshund mix, has sadly been a stray in the area for years, avoiding all attempts to catch or help her. As a result, she's had litter after litter — and these babies were on the verge of becoming yet another heartbreaking statistic.
Thankfully, a kind and determined soul was able to safely trap the puppies, giving them their first chance at safety, warmth, and love. At around 2–3 months old, these little ones are still unsure of the world. They’re just beginning to learn that humans can be kind, and while they’re a bit shy, they’re making progress every day.
Momma may have been small, but these pups are clearly mixed with something bigger — and whatever their mix, they’re 100% adorable. When rescued, they were covered in fleas and ticks, but after some much-needed baths (with fleas coming off by the hundreds ?), they’re finally on the mend.
Now fully vetted and ready for a fresh start, these babies are looking for loving homes where they can blossom and discover what it truly means to be part of a family. ?
