Meet Theodore

Theo is a roughly a 4 mo. old German Shepherd.

At this time Theo needs a home with no small children or cats. Theo is learning that he cannot jump on you when he greets you or gets excited. Since he is young he could be taught to do fine with cats- but at this time he has no recall and chases them. Theo has slight food aggression due to going days without food and thinking other animals won't let him have any. He will growl, but has not done anything further. We are continuing to work with him on this behavior. He has been tested with dogs and excels with other dogs as he wants to do what they do.

Theo IS a puppy. He is not potty trained but is learning as well as working on crate training. As with any shepherd he has separation anxiety- he does not do well alone and will chew anything he has the opportunity to while he is away from people/animals. Theodore is VERY intelligent and is very willing to do whatever is asked of him. For example he learned to sit in less than 2 minutes and will do it when given the cue.
