Theodore's Story

Theodore is a 2-3 year old husky who was found as a stray when people were out searching for a separate pair of lost huskies in Old Bridge. Most of the hair on his tail is missing, and he will be seeing a specialist to try and find out why. He was never claimed, so now he is available for adoption. Theodore is very friendly with people, and he also knows sit and down! He appears interested in other dogs, but has not yet been dog tested. He has also never met any small dogs or cats to our knowledge.

Dogs join the MaPaw family for a variety of reasons ~ many are no fault of their own. Dogs are surrendered to us directly by their owners, while others are pulled from area shelters. For many, MaPaw is a place for a second chance at life, while for others MaPaw is their last chance. Each dog is welcomed into a MaPaw foster home with open arms. Once they have settled, our dogs are evaluated thoroughly within the home environment. This evaluation allows us to find the best match for each dog.
