Meet Theo
Meet our sweet Theo!
Theo is a 3 year old Labrador mix weighing in at just 35 lbs. He has the prettiest chocolate brown fur and the happiest face of them all! He has a scar on his head that we're not sure the cause of, but it adds to his unique look!
Theo is an expert at giving permanent puppy dog eyes. How can anyone resist the cuteness?!
Poor Theo found his way into a Kentucky County Shelter and unfortunately was placed on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding. STAF stepped in and took this sweet boy in to give him another chance at life, and boy, he is not taking a single second of it for granted.
Theo LOVES to play fetch and play with tennis balls. He gets so excited to play that he will wiggle his whole body and do a cute dance for you! Because of his love of running and fetch, we think Theo would enjoy a fenced-in yard the best.
Theo is so sweet and enjoys getting pets from all the volunteers. He is looking for someone to show him what a loving home feels like!
Please check back for updates as we get to know Theo better.

• All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
• We do not do same-day adoptions. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting.
• You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF.
• We require a 4-foot-tall physical fence for homes with children under the age of 11. We also may require a physical fence for specific dogs on a case-by-case basis, depending on each dog’s behavior and exercise needs.
• Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences.
• We do request vet and personal references.
• We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter.
