Description:
Theo is a happy, healthy little pup! He loves squeaky toys, treats, and playing with other dogs. He is a bit shy so a home with an older, tolerant dog would be the best for Theo so he has someone to "show him the ropes" and pal around with on adventures. Theo likes to run laps around the yard, while yipping and yammering, inviting our older dogs to join in. He also loves to chase butterflies and flying grasshoppers. One day he will catch one! He does not like to be picked up, but he will snuggle with humans if you come down to his level and be patient. He is extremely loving and very smart. You can see him thinking, figuring out ways to do things! He listens very well when he wants to... another sign he is very intelligent.

Puppies need attention, patience and proper socialization, in order to give him the best chance at being a great dog. The number one reason young dogs are surrendered to shelters is due to improper socialization as a young puppy. We strongly suggest puppy classes, to help strengthen the bond and assure a good start for everyone.

If you are interested in adopting this OESR dog, you must complete the application process at www.oesr.org. We will not be able to answer your questions about this dog until he/she has been assessed at which time the information will be available here or on our website.
