Tessy Border Collie & Labrador Retriever Mix Bedford, VA

Tessy is one beautiful girl and full of life’s energy. BHS was told her breed is Border Collie, Shepherd and Labrador. Your guess is as good as ours. If you are worried about getting lazy this winter, then Tessy is the girl for you. She will keep you moving and will not let you become a couch potato. Her personality is just sparkling like fireworks. Tessy is not a puppy that you can hold because she is so interested in everything around her she becomes a wiggle worm. She is being fostered with another foster dog, Elaina, who is four times her size and she holds her own during a tug of war game. She seems to do well inside a house. She will follow you from room to room and wait for the next activity. She needs help with potty training, but you understand she is only 3 months and most 3 month old puppies do need training. Tessy is sleeping in a crate at night and doing really well. Tessy likes to go on walks and does really well on a leash.
Tessy's energy may be too much for a small child due to Tessy being so short right now, she likes to jump up on her person to get attention.
Tessy has been dewormed, microchipped, and has received the Distemper-Parvo combination vaccine.
Since she is not yet spayed, Tessy is not available for adoption outside of the counties contiguous to Bedford County. There is a separate spay contract that will be signed for this adoption which requires a $50.00 security deposit which will be refunded after proof of neuter.
