Meet Tessa MD
My coat is white with delicious spots of liver. I'm a 60 pound, 3 year old, Catahoula Leopard mix, perfectly camouflaged to hide among a crowd of ladies with botched spray tans, gold fish crackers or the cast of Orange is the New Black. Mostly I just try to blend in with the fabric of the couch while airing out my tummy. You can rub my belly if you want to.
They asked me if I was good with cats? I'm 35% undecided. I live with 2 cats and I haven't eaten them yet and I share the couch with them on occasion. Reportedly they are a-holes, but I can't tell ya what the A stands for, I'm a good girl, I don't use those words. The cats watch me do ALL the skills like SIT, SHAKE, DOWN, and almost STAY to get treats. I heard them whispurring about what a dumbie I was for working for treats while they do nada and still get fed on demand.
So far I'm not a big fan of large dogs, but I rock it with Chihuahuas and scruffy Terriers. It really just depends on the dog, whether I vibe or not. Here's a bit of false advertising at its best. Foster Mom can provide a film roll of me being kissed and hugged by her small child, but I have met other small children and found them to be worrisome and they made me nervous, so she's recommending a home with no small kids or very gentle dog savvy kids that won't freak me out.
I'm potty trained and crate trained. And my overall temper is calm and reserved. I'm protective of my people and need a special family that doesn't mind a gum on the bottom of your shoe dog, because I wanna stick to ya. I lost my first family and don't want that to happen again, my microchip led all the way from San Antonio to north of Dallas and every lead led to a dead end. So I'm looking to be a BFFF, best furry friend forever to a new person who will answer the phone number on my ID if I get lost.
