A man who works for a pest control company had a client who was getting rid of two puppies. He didnt want the puppies to be sent to animal control so he took them in without permission from his mother. Knowing that he was not allowed to have the puppies, his mother reached out to us for help and we had a foster step up for them. Being that she was an adorable, blue puppy, Tessa, who was formerly known as Misty Blue, was quickly adopted. She lived with a loving family that took great care of her for about 3 years. After an incident with another dog, to no fault of her own, her family decided they no longer wanted her. We stepped up and took her back.
Tessa is an AMAZING girl. She is a very well-adjusted, sweet, gentle lady. She loves people of all ages, shapes, and sizes. Tessa is not very demanding in her exercise requirements and is happy to match her peoples level of activity. If you want to take a walk, she is happy to accompany you, but she is also perfectly fine lounging around day in and day out. This snuggly lady will not hesitate to keep you warm and cozy. She is housebroken and working on getting acclimated to the crate. She will make an outstanding family pet. She would do best as an only dog, however she may be okay with another dog provided they are the right match. It is obvious Tessa lived the good life with a loving family for years because she is outgoing and well mannered. She lost the only family she knew on that day and would really love a family of her own that will commit to not setting her up for failure and will give her the unconditional loves she deserves and should have had all along.
Our adoption fee is $250. All dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, on heartworm prevention, and are fed top of the line grain-free food.www.savingpitbulls.org
