Tess is a 4 month old, 15 lb female Retriever mixed breed.

Tess is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to her new home.

This ebony beauty is Tess. Little Tess was a bottle baby whose mom passed shortly after giving birth, but a kind person took the puppies in and they went to a good foster home. Tess and one brother are thriving in their foster home, where they play and romp with one another and with the resident dogs and cats. Tess and the cat are now good friends. The pups are now old enough to start spending some quality time exploring the great outdoors, aka the backyard. Tess enjoys spending her days practicing her pouncing skills, chewing on squeaky toys and trying to bully her brother into giving up his share of dinner. Tess is a foodie and simply adores chow time. This trait should come in handy while teaching her basic obedience skills. Tess is sweet and playful, and though she is affectionate, she is not a velcro dog and is not overly fond of forced cuddle time - she prefers to give affection on her own schedule. This sweet girl is smart and playful, and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a pup with a bit of an independent streak.

Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada.

Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $700 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) spay/neuter, microchip and transportation fees.
