My name is Tesla! I was given this name by the wonderful people who found me by the Anheuser-Busch brewery. I had no collar and was very skinny, extremely dirty and covered with fleas; my life was pretty miserable. But then the greatest thing happened, my new foster mom took me home! They cleaned me up and guess what? I became best friends with Mars, my younger foster brother. At first I didn’t understand the concept of treats or bones or toys, so Mars had to show me what was up - greatness! Now I can’t get enough treats or bones! My foster mom always makes sure I take this stuff that she says will keep yucky heartworms away, because I love the outdoors and she doesn't want me to get sick. I've decided that I LOVE walks/runs with my foster mom, playing with my foster brothers, aka my companions, and sun bathing. Bones of any type (raw hide, bully sticks, antlers, etc.) are my favorite toys to keep busy while by myself. I absolutely love peanut butter, my new favorite treat. I am not food or toy aggressive at all, but I do like to play rough with my foster brother Mars, and I love a good game of tug of war (with mom or Mars - doesn't matter). I love meeting new people of all ages and will give them kisses everywhere including the feet. I haven't been around kids younger than 5, but if they are as cool as 5 year olds then I should be good, with supervision of course! I am both crate trained and house broken - cool huh? I am a typical snuggle bug! I will snuggle with you everywhere, on the couch, the floor, in bed, even while sitting on a chair (only if you ask me to though - I have good manners). I listen very well, so far I've learned to sit, wait, and come - pretty good for someone who has never lived in a house before! Of course I get along great with both small and large dogs, as well as cats - see I'm perfect! I would love to find a furever family of my own! I'm only 3 so I have lots of wonderful living to do, with toys and bones and snuggles and love! Any chance that's you? If so, please contact my rescue friends at Pals for Pooches (email@example.com) and they'll help you meet me!
