TERRENCE Pit Bull Terrier Mix Phoenix, AZ

Thanks to HARTT, Humane Animal Rescue and Trapping Team, and their amazing rescue efforts, Home Fur Good gets to enjoy the company of Terrence while he waits for his forever home. HARTT received a help request from a Good Samaritan who had been leaving food and water out for a dog, but had been unable to contain the dog. HARTT immediately spotted the dog in question, and although he first trotted away, he decided to come back when he saw they were setting up a feeding station. HARTT rescuers sat on the ground and allowed the newly named Terrence to come to them. With the lure of hamburgers and gentle chin pets, they were able to leash up Terrence. By staying calm and gently petting, they were able to coax Terrence into the car and before long he was offering up gentle licks and kisses. Terrence is a nine-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix and he weighs 42 pounds. Since being at Home Fur Good, Terrence has been nothing but a polite little gentleman. He is very treat-motivated and is happy to show you his perfect sit, and then he will extend his paw for a shake. Terrence has made some doggie buddies while at Home Fur Good. He has played with younger dogs and older dogs, his easy going attitude attracts the friends. The adoption fee is $150 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm.
