Tera Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Riverside, RI

Tera is a 3 yrs old spayed female Red heeler mix whom is UTD on her shots with a microchip. She is medium size and weighs about 45 lbs. She is a fun loving gal whom loves people, loves to play with other dogs after she warms up a bit (otherwise she whines and wants to be cuddled like a baby). She is scared of cats and if cornered will holler and cry until her human comes to rescue her from the big bad kitties. Tera plays a little rough when it comes to fetch and tug of war so she is going to need continued obedience training but she is willing to work for treats and is toy motivated so learning new things should be a breeze. She is currently living with 3 kids who are over 12 yrs old. She also lives with three other dogs and four cats. Tera does well with all and has never met a stranger she doesn’t love to get pets from and cuddle up too.

Keep in mind herding breeds were developed to have high intelligence, stamina to run miles a day often in harsh conditions, independence to make decisions on their own when necessary, and the desire to form a working relationship with their people. They are going to want to be involved in your life and they are going to demand an outlet for their intelligence and athleticism.
Whomever adopts this gal better have a good dental plan because she is super sweet she will have you visiting your dentist in no time.
