Meet Teensy
The first step to adopting one of our pets is to complete an application at www.tapsusa.org. The adoption radius is within 50 miles of 37737 because we ask volunteers to do home visits prior to finalizing an adoption.
Teensy was so happy to get a scholarship into the Friendsville Scholarship Pet program. At nine-ish years old, she never expected to be anywhere other than her home. But when her former owner died, there was no one to care for her. This Pomeranian is as sweet as a honey bun and gets along with everyone and other dogs. Teensy will need a family who understands that she is older and has an ongoing medication condition (suspected collapsed trachea) that will require continued care. Short distance walks and a comfy spot on the sofa are at the top of her wish-list. Teensy is also on a special low-cal diet to help her shed a few pounds to give her a better quality of life.
