Teena Terrier & Chihuahua Mix Spring, TX

Tiny Teena came to WSRH from an area shelter where she had been surrendered by her previous owners who said they feared she would get hurt because she was so small. Poor Teena only weighed 4.5 lbs so the first goal was to put a little weight on her. She’s around 7 lbs now and healthy, although the dogtor says she could stand to gain another pound. Teena is getting ready for her furever home... is it with you?

Teena has been through a lot in her young life so she needs a calm, patient, all adult family to adore her. A lot of activity makes her nervous so we will not place her in a home with young children or energetic dogs. Teena is only around 8 months old but has already mastered the art of being a lap dog and she is working on housetraining and leash walking.

Teena has been vaccinated and microchipped, and is scheduled to be spayed in a couple of weeks. Her adoption donation is $350 and includes 6 months heartworm preventative meds, prepaid lifetime premium microchip registration, and safety harness
