Meet Teddy!
Teddy is a 7 year old Chihuahua mix, Papillon or Pomeranian perhaps, and weighs about 10 pounds. He is neutered and up to date with vaccinations . He has been very well loved and is friendly with most adults & older kids. Through no fault of his own he finds himself in need of a new home. His mamma loves him dearly and he was quite the popular guy in the senior living neighborhood. He left many a broken heart. He has never lived with other pets but is OK with calm smaller submissive dogs. He loves attention from people and loves sleeping in bed with his family. He is housebroken and walks well with a leash, and is a fan of trying to chase squirrels & barks at his pals out the window to let them know he will be getting out for a walk soon. He hopes you are his new walking companion and love of his life to spoil him and keep him safe and happy as he has been accustomed to living.

Teddy will like a family who can be home more with him and let him sleep in their bed. No large dogs or young kids for him.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
