Meet Teddy aka Teddy Bear
This big, beautiful boy is 85 pounds of pure love with the floppiest ears and the softest heart. Hes the definition of a gentle giantcuddly, loyal, and 100% convinced hes a lap dog.

Teddy is completely house-trained, happy to chill while youre at work, and always excited for his afternoon walk. Because of his size, hell need a confident handler on leashbut hes eager to please and loves having a routine.

He gets along well with most dogs and would do best in a home with older kids, simply because hes a big boy who doesnt always realize it. He loves all humans but definitely is a dudes dog.

Teddys past is heartbreaking. While we dont know exactly what happened to him, the evidence is cleara deep scar circles his neck and goes under his arm, and his body is covered in marks that look like old fight wounds. When we got him he was covered in mange, ringworm and a skin infection. Despite it all, he is trusting, affectionate, and just wants a person of his own to love.

Sadly, black pitbulls are among the least likely dogs to be adopted. But Teddy is so specialhe deserves to be seen and loved for who he is: a survivor with the soul of a snugglebug.
