Teddy Yellow Labrador Retriever Mix Saint Marys, PA

Teddy is a 4 years old, Yellow Lab mix. In May 2023, he was brought to the shelter after being found as a stray. Unfortunately, Teddy was returned in September 2025 due to his adopter's failing health. Teddy is neutered, updated on his vaccinations, flea treated, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped.

While we don't know much of Teddy's history, we do know that sometime during his time roaming as a stray he was likely hit by a car, shifting his pelvis and breaking his jaw. Both injuries are healing and do not cause him any pain, though he can be sensitive to some touches around his jaw area. We also recommend that he remain on a joint supplement to help him as he ages.

Despite his past, this handsome boy is as friendly as they come and a lover of life! He's extremely playful, friendly, and an all around good boy.

Teddy has been to Top Dog and completed a training course for basic obedience, and thus knows his basic commands and is very well housetrained.

He does well with other dogs, but would do best in a home without any cats. He also gets along well with children, so long as they don't mind his energy.
