Meet Teddy

Teddy is a gorgeous 16 weeks old fella and as precious as can be! He is a mix of fluffy, white and dog (Fluffy White Dog mix)...meaning we really do not know his genetic make-up. He is about 18.5 pounds and we feel he will be a medium sized dog. He loves to play with toys, run with his litter mates and thrives on attention. He is smart, walks well on a leash and is crate trained. Teddy also already knows sit and paw (shake) and is working on down and housetraining. He is currently interviewing applicants for the position of parents...his wish list includes a fenced yard for play time, lots of toys, a nice bed in the house to sleep and parents who will spoil him. Teddy gets along well with dogs and should be fine with cats since introduced so young. A vet reference is required for adoption (meaning you have a vet we can call to verify the level of care provided to your current/past pet) and we always try our best to place puppies in homes where someone is home the majority of the day (puppies cannot hold it in a crate all day while everyone is at work). Due to safety reasons, we are also very careful about placing puppies and small dogs in households with children under 5 years. Homes who have completed at least a basic class in dog training are ideal. Teddy is fully vetted and ready for his forever home. If you would like to adopt Teddy and make his dreams come true, contact us at info.caresga@gmail.com for an adoption application. $350 adoption fee plus additional donation requested to offset vet bills.

Typical adoption fees for puppies are $350, adults dogs are $250 and senior dogs are $150. We will alert you if there is a variance. Adoption fees help our group offset the cost of all the vetting that goes into each animal to get them healthy and ready for adoption. This is each animal being current on age appropriate vaccinations including DHPPL, bordetella, influenza, rabies, and boosters when appropriate. De-wormed for any internal parasites (round worms, hook worms, tape worms and whipworms) with Drontal Plus, 4DX tested heart-worm negative (if positive, they are treated), tested negative for tick borne diseases, spayed/neutered, implanted with a micro-chip and have been examined by a veterinarian to certify that they are healthy. Any other known health issues are treated as well prior to adoption (examples: UTI, broken bones, contagious infections, dental cleanings, etc). All animals are also on a regime of flea and heartworm medication every month. Lifetime registration for the micro-chip is included in each adoption fee. In addition, each adopter will go home with a fitted collar, tags, a bag of dog food the pet has been on, Forti-Flora, copies of all vet history, and an adoption kit filled with valuable information and coupons as well as other various treats or toys as promotions become available. All puppy adoptions include two puppy training books, the Puppy Primer & Way To Go by Patricia McConnell, and all adult adoptions go home with Love Has No Age Limit by Patricia McConnell to help ensure a smooth transition for your new family member.

We ask that you consider an additional donation on top of this pet's adoption fee. This money will go directly into our Adoption Fund to be used exclusively for rescuing and caring for other pets in need. Many pets we take in have very high vet bills to get them healthy and adoptable for the public - much higher than their adoption fees. We receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from our community and caring adopters to continue our rescue efforts!
