Meet Ted
Hello there, I'm Ted, nice to meet you! I am very sweet, but I need a little time to warm up to new people, especially men. When given time to warm up to people slowly, I am calm and affectionate. I like to play, and I like to be in charge, so I do best around other dogs who don't mind me being the boss. I love to eat and will guard my food, but I will eat around other dogs; human supervision during dinnertime helps me feel safe and secure. I prefer to be corrected as gently as possible: loud corrections scare me. I LOVE running around the backyard and talking to all the squirrels and other outside critters. I would enjoy having a doggie sibling, but I like to chase cats, so a cat-free home would be best for me. I do best with older children who are gentle with animals. I'm working on potty-training. I can't wait to find my furever person/people who will give me lots of love and attention to help me come out of my shell and live my best life!
