Teak Black Labrador Retriever Mix Saint Augustine, FL

Teak is a solid 5mth young German Shepherd mix and has a beautiful shiny black coat with grey paws and markings. He responds to come, down, no, and sit (offering his left paw). He is super loving. He feels safest when touched and talked to. He is a puppy so he enjoys chewing on his bones, soft chew toys as well as a hand or arm but that is manageable with gentle correction. He is still learning. He is curious and wants to be a part of whatever you are doing outdoors. He plays and fetches a ball. To maintain a calm development and disposition, we do not aggressively play with Teak. He will shy away from unknown objects, ie. tin foil and unfamiliar people. He will back away and bark if alarmed. He is a jumper and we are working on that as well. He has bonded with adult humans male and female alike and responds well to both. He has not been introduced to any children. Teak has been fostered with a Dachshund and Chihuahua all have grown to cohabitate in harmony for the most part. Teak likes attention because he's the baby boy. ??
