Meet Taz!

He is guessed to be about 6 - 9 months old, neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies

He loves to zoom and play with toys. He gets very happy when he sees a human coming his way.
Caution with smaller kids or other dogs, as he has shown some resource guarding when it comes to his food/treats. You will most likely have to feed him separately.
He is in a foster home with an older cat. He wants to play with the cat and she isn't interested. He may do better in a home with a younger cat.

All in all, he's a really cute happy boy just looking for a loving home of his own. He plays well with other dogs.
He did ok on a leash but is very wiggly and excited.

- our dogs can be seen by appointment only after an approved application has been received.

- Adoption fee helps to cover spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, initial worming, and microchip.

-We cannot place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.

NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.

Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Dyer, IN area and partner with 12 other rescues and shelters in both IL and IN that are willing to help southern pets in need.
