Meet Taylor - NEW INFO
IF NOT CLAIMED BY OWNER AVAILABLE TUESDAY, OCT. 31
PROOF OF OWNERSHIP REQUIRED
Taylor is thought to be around a year old. Taylor was found dragging a leash/tie out on Binderbasin Road, Trimble/Glouster close to Taylor Ridge Road. Taylor currently weighs 54 pounds.
Taylor ended up in the shelter after being found tied to a pole in Glouster. Since then she has been waiting and unfortunately her owner failed to come and get her, even after calling in and saying he was. No one has scheduled a meet and greet with her either. It is hard to pin down what breeds she might be, but she is tall, elegant, and has the fluffiest brindle coat. She is truly a beauty with a fashionable corkscrew tale to complete the look.
Taylor is a friendly lady and has demonstrated playfulness with other dogs. But the shelter environment has been hard on her and she is showing signs of stress. As a shepherd mix, she is extremely intelligent and is not able to get the exercise or mental stimulation that she needs in the shelter. It's not her fault, as a young adult, she needs someone to spend time with her and help her develop into the faithful companion that she so longs to be.
Meeting dogs is by appointment only. Please call the shelter (740/593-5415) to make an appointment. All adopters must bring in kids and other dogs in the household for a meet and greet before adoption.
Adoption fees are $125 ($65 for dogs 7 years old and older) and include dog license, basic vaccinations, heartworm test on adult dogs, and spay or neuter (ARRIVED 10/26/23).
