Meet Tawny!

This pup is truly a gem! At just 4 months old & 27 lbs. this German Shepherd mix is already showing her intelligence and love for people. She's a social butterfly, thriving in the company of both her human family and her furry friends at her foster home.

Tawny’s ideal home is one that can keep up with her active lifestyle. She craves playtime, and having another playful pup as a companion would be a dream come true for her. Whether it's a game of fetch in the backyard or a long walk in the park, she's up for the adventure.

Her foster family has been diligently working on potty training and crate training, and Tawny is proving to be a quick learner. She's well on her way to becoming a well-behaved and house-trained pup.

While she's a social butterfly with those she knows, Tawny can be a bit shy when meeting new people or experiencing new things. This is where additional training classes come in. These classes would not only help with her obedience but also boost her confidence, allowing her to blossom into a more outgoing and self-assured companion.

Tawny’s loyalty knows no bounds. She's a snuggler, always ready for a cozy cuddle with her favorite humans. Her fun-loving nature and unwavering loyalty make her an excellent choice for a family seeking a furry, four-legged member who will bring joy, love, and endless adventures to their lives.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
