Tater Chihuahua Mix Charlottesville, VA

Tater is a sweet 9lb male tan Chihuahua mix puppy who was born on 11/28/20. mi-He is the calm stoic one of his litter and likes to sit back and observe everything before diving in. He is very affectionate and plays well with his litter mates. He loves playing with toys and the louder the squeak the better! Tater loves all people, does great with children, and gets along great with all dogs. He is just a playful, silly, and cuddly puppy who will bring a bunch of love and entertainment to any household.
Tater was rescued along with his siblings from a hoarding situation and has since had his first round of vaccines and also has been dewormed, put on heartworm preventative and flea and tick meds, and microchipped. He will be getting his second round of puppy shots in a week and will be neutered before an adoption is finalized.
Tater’s parents were both Chihuahua / Chihuahua mixes and are pictured in one of the photos. The mom weighs approximately 19lbs and the dad weighs approximately 12lbs so he will most likely be somewhere in the middle.
Tater’s currently in a foster home where he is learning the basics like walking on a leash and puppy pad and potty training. He will need a home that has the time to continue working with him on the basics and will also provide him with daily play and exercise as well as structure. He also needs another playful dog in the home as well as a fenced in yard for him to run around in and get out his puppy energy.
