Meet Tate
Tate is a 1.5-year-old adorable dog who is looking for his forever home!
Doodle Dandy does not know where Tate originated, but he was rescued from the side of a country road along with his buddy, Gibbs.
When Tate came to DDR, he tested positive for heartworms but has been successfully treated!
Tate is a VERY active boy! He loves to run, and play, and run some more, and play some more. He will find random objects and throw them… and fetch them! When is not busy playing with his toys, he is busy playing with his foster sister, Rosalie. The two can play for hours!
Tate’s forever home is one that will ensure that Tate is active, every day. He would be a great running partner. His forever home also needs to have another dog that will play with him! Tate is great with other dogs, people, and children. He can be food aggressive, so he must eat in his kennel!
Tate does shed but the shedding decreases with brushing… if you can catch him!
He is a very loving and sweet dog. He is smart too; he can sit, stay, and lay down. He is ALWAYS eager to please! He will need someone who will continue to work with him on his manners. He forgets them from time to time. He has never seen a cat, but his foster family assumes he would react to them as he does to everything else… with enthusiasm!
