Meet Tannis Drummer
Tannis has really grown!!! He is 10 months old and about 70 lbs now and will probably top out around 85. His foster family purchased a DNA test and they will hopefully have the results back in 2-3 weeks. In the meantime, here is what we do know!!
1. Tannis loves everyone. All the dogs and all the people!!! All of them!! He has never been around cats, but his foster thinks he would definitely love to chase.
2. He is exuberant!!! He goes at life with all the love he has in him. Loves to give and receive as much affection as possible!! Though he has great manners, his passion for affection makes him a little overwhelming for toddlers and senior humans. He is a teenage puppy after all!
3. He is crate trained, house broken, leash trained and rides in the car like every trip has been to the beach!!
4. He would love an active human or humans that enjoy some organized outdoor activity like hiking.
5. Tannis has a sensitive stomach and it took us a long time to narrow it down and he is doing great now. He eats only Pure Vita Duck and Potato and he needs to be able to stay on that. No treats, no toddlers feeding him cheerios, he needs to stick to his diet and he is golden!!!!
6. He is also super smart and loves to be entertained intellectually!!
Tannis is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!
All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Ashley Reum.
You must have an approved application before being able to visit a dog. Visit our website below for an adoption application https://www.snootygiggles.com/dog-application/
If you expect to leave the dog alone for long periods of time, please do not consider adopting a puppy. Puppies need lots of attention and companionship. Thanks.
All known information about the animal is listed above. We do our best to give accurate information, but most of our dogs are rescues and do not come with a known history.
