MEET TANNER!<br/><br/>This adorable Maltese/Yorkie mix is ready for his forever!<br/><br/>Tanner's foster mom got him as a very scared pup from the shelter. She has worked wonders with him! He's gone from being afraid of grass (not kidding!) to going out on walks with the foster's other dogs and running on it.<br/>Tanner LOVES his treats and takes them very gently (great for training). He LOVES snuggling at night watching TV. He LOVES to be in his pop up crate at night (he likes small, snug spaces, it makes him feel secure).<br/><br/>Tanner still has his "quirks", which the foster mom can explain in full to any potential adopter, but Tanner is a GREAT dog who just wants more than anything, to love and be loved.<br/><br/>Ideal home for Tanner? A home that will love and care for him of course, a home committed to him forever. A home with a couple or retirees would be great. Other dogs are fine too, (intros always necessary). A home with guardians who get that they will need to be strong leaders for little Tanner for him to feel confident and happy.<br/><br/>Tanner is about four years old and weighs about 11 lbs.
